Zuby I respectfully disagree. I was always the type who “spoke up” and it basically ruined my career. I even got fired from my job for refusing to take the v*ccine, wasn’t able to get another job for a year and went broke in the meantime. In the past, speaking up always destroyed my ability to advance in my career. And now that I have kids I can’t afford to make this mistake again. So it’s not that I lack courage, I just don’t want my kids to be homeless.

I’ve lived outside the US for 25 years, and every time I return I can only view the country as being on a slow death spiral. Some of the signs are obvious but most are quite subtle. One of the big ones is the fact that the infrastructure in our cities is ancient and is not being updated. And I don’t see it ever being updated. The country is $36 trillion in debt, with well of $200 trillion in unfunded, off-the-books mandates still needing to be funded- in a country that is “only” worth $22 trillion. Americans, despite more access to tech than anyone, continue to be woefully ignorant of almost everything- choosing instead to fill their heads with nonsense. You feel it immediately when you board a plane to the US- the odd flight staff, the selection of movies on the flight (with a Pride selection, Black selections, women-oriented content, eco-disaster content etc), the weird flight rules, and the PC language that none of the world shares. And then you enter a country where everyone appears to be obese- and yet no one can apparently afford anything. America is certainly a strange place now.
